☔️ Embracing the Unexpected Chatms of Barcelona

My 3rd day in Barcelona
started early at 4:30 AM. 🥱
The soft rhythm of raindrops
against the window
called for a cozy morning. ☔
Armed with my favorite backpack,
a 1L water bottle,
and a trusty umbrella,
I stepped into the refreshed,
rain-washed streets
of the city.

🥑 Acsanctuary from the Rain : Brunch & Cake

I found a warm refuge
at Brunch & Cake. ☕
I ordered the Avocado Benedict
and Homemade Lemonade. 🥑
The presentation was a work of art,
but the taste was even better!
The secret sauce tied
all the fresh ingredients
together perfectly.
Watching the rain fall
over the historic buildings
was pure bliss.

🏛️ Taking Shelter Under Arc de Triomf

After my brunch,
I walked over to the
Arc de Triomf. 🏛️
I was surprised by
how empty the streets felt,
but then I saw everyone
huddled together
under the arch! 😂
It was quite a funny sight
—the massive monument
had become a giant umbrella
for all the travelers
escaping the rain. 🏛️☔

🥐 The Legend of Hofman Bakery

As if by magic,
the rain clouds cleared,
and the sun began to shine. 🔅
I headed straight to
Hofmann Bakery
to try their iconic
Mascarpone Croissant. 🥐
The cream inside was so rich
and heavenly that
I finished it in seconds—
I totally forgot
to take a proper photo! 😋
Pro Tip:
The Cinnamon Bread here
is also incredible. 🥨
I highly recommend
grabbing both!

🌊 Coastal Vibes at Barceloneta Beach

The afternoon was
all about the ocean breeze. 🌊
The beach was buzzing with energy,
from beach volleyball
to local marathon runners.
Sitting on the stone path,
watching the waves,
was the most peaceful
moment of my trip.

🐙 Local's Choice : Can Sardi

If you're looking for
authentic seafood,
Can Sardi is the place to be. 🥘
  • Tuna Tartare:
    Fresh and generous portions. 🐟
  • Polpo (Octopus):
The star of the show! 🐙
    Incredibly tender.

🏛️ A Sunny Finale at Are de Triomf

To end the day,
I revisited the Arc de Triomf. 🏛️✨
Seeing it under a
vibrant blue sky
was a completely different
experience from the morning.
After a long day,
I crashed early at the hostel
and ended the night with
fresh juice and bread. 🍊😴

My third day in Barcelona
was a beautiful mix of raindrops
and golden sunrays. 🌈
It taught me that detours
and rainy pauses aren't just interruptions—
they are some of the most meaningful parts
of travel. ✨
Next time, I'm heading out of Barcelona
to explore a whole new city!
I can't wait to share the next chapter with you.
See you soon! 👋🏻
